"Where Every Child Shines Through Dance"
Professional IDTA training for all ages

"Established in 2005, our dance school has been a trusted place for children and young people to discover the joy of movement, creativity, and self-expression. With nearly two decades of experience, we’ve built a warm, supportive environment where students of all ages can learn, grow, and shine.
Our professional teachers bring both expertise and passion to every class, guiding students step by step—whether they’re taking their very first twirl or preparing for more advanced techniques. We believe dance should be both fun and enriching, helping children build confidence, make lasting friendships, and develop a love of the arts that stays with them for life.
At our school, it’s not just about learning dance—it’s about inspiring every student to reach their full potential, on stage and beyond."

Mrs Cole
My son who is 4 has been going to 2 Step Dance Academy for over a year now, he loves it so much!
Miss Michelle has so much love and energy for every class and pupil and it follows through to all of the children.
He asks everyday if it's Saturday so he can go dancing! And the shows she puts on.. well they speak for themselves, just outstanding
Mrs Reeves
2 Step Dance Academy is not just a dance school, it's a dance family. My daughter started 5 years ago as a 3 year old with no self confidence or independence... now, I'm looking at an 8 year old who stuns me daily with her talent and she loves to be on stage beside her friends. Michelle is dedicated to creating a happy and safe environment for all and you can see this with how much the children all love her. Everyone is welcome with open arms.
Mrs Jenkins
My two daughters have both attended the dance school since they were three years old, my eldest is now 13. Michelle is dedicated, patient and amazing with all the girls, it's like a big family. From the moment they started, their confidence has grown, both in dance and life outside of dance. Both girls love attending lessons, events and shows. We couldn't imagine a life without the dance school
Miss Langford
My daughter, 14 started her 2 Step journey around two years ago. Not only has she grown in confidence, being able to perform on stage in the fantastic show, but she has now made a wonderful group of lovely friends. Michelle has been brilliant with her and it's a joy to watch Nieve perform. She now also volunteers on a weekend as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award with the younger dancers, which she absolutely loves.
